Danisha J. Fernandes

Danisha J. Fernandes is the Sub Editor II of Indian Naval Despatch (INDES). She holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from the School of International and Area Studies, Goa University, where she graduated with a gold medal. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem, Goa. At Indian Naval Despatch (INDES), she assists the Editor-in-Chief and the editorial team in maintaining high editorial standards. Her responsibilities include copy-editing manuscripts and conducting authenticity and originality checks on contributions received for publication. She also coordinates with selected authors regarding editorial requirements and revisions to their manuscripts. In addition, she monitors and manages the content of the INDEF website and maintains the organisation’s online and offline archives. She further coordinates with relevant stakeholders to ensure the timely publication of the journal in both print and digital formats.
